Place GLAD Training pad in the center base of the pad holder with the plastic side facing down and the grey quilted side facing up. The pad may extend slightly beyond the edges of the holder base. This will actually allow for a more secure hold. (This pad holder fits GLAD Standard and Small size pads.) 3. Place the top frame of the pad holder back on the base and close all the latches to close the device and secure the training pad. 4. Familiarize your pet by gently placing them on the pad several times to sniff. 5. Reward your pet when they successfully relieve themselves on the pad. If accident occurs elsewhere, bring your pet to the pad to reinforce the correct use. 5. Replace the training pad when needed or at least once a day for best results. CAUTION: Do not allow dog to eat or swallow the pad. Clean regularly with a pet-safe detergent.
